Me and my two teachers traveled to Romania in December, 2015 where we had the first meeting with partners from other countries. My host was Alexandru Solomon. I spent a week living with my new family: father – Tiberiu, mother – Cornelia and my new brother – Alexandru. I was greeted very joyful by all of them. All week long they were very sweet and caring. We were talking so much and just having a great time! We had different trips and excursions on three days during the week. We visited TV station in Câmpulung Muscel, Nămăieşti Monastery and exposition of Romanian folklore clothes, fruit grower and Vineyard Museum, Florica House, glass and ceramics factory, also had few workshops at school and outside it. All of them were interesting and something new to me. Me and also my teachers got involved into them with amusement. I think that one week is not enought for true discovery of any country. Same with discovering of Romania. We traveled to very nice and interesting places and t it was enought to me to get an impression about Romania, its people, culture, customs and traditions. Thanks for all the organizators, teachers, my hosting family for opportunity to visit Romania and learn things about a new country!

December started with the excitement of Konrad's visit to Romania. We had already talked on the Facebook and I really wanted to meet him. Konrad and his friends arrived right on the day of St. Nicholas. My first impression was that he was taller than I has imagined. On his first night in Pitești I showed him the town, beautifully decorated with winter adornments. He told us about his house, his family, his school and Poland. After a while I realised my new friend was a very polite boy. When his friends from Poland came to visit us, they were very happy. We discovered that we all like playing on the computer and we even solved some Maths exercises together! On their last night in Romania, we all met and went to town. Although Konrad is not very keen on sport, he was very good at bowling. He won first place. On the trips we made together I liked that Konrad thought of his mother , and he bought her a little Romanian souvenir. As his visit was a little before Christmas, we told him about our Christmas customs, and he told us about his family gathered around the Christmas table. The same thing happens on Sunday. I understood that his family is very important. Another thing that impressed me was that he took sweets to his friends, classmates and teachers, which made me think he is a very friendly boy. After a week, I realised that Konrad's visit in Romania was very short, the time passed very quickly and I hope we will meet soon!

I remember with pleasure the day I expected Mateusz' arrival in Romania. First time we met at the Rehoma hotel. There I was introduced to his mates and teachers. Mateusz stayed at my house in the country in the village Cotmeana. I welcomed him with affection and I always tried to be a good host.during this period we visited different places so that Mateusz could discover beautiful Romania. He liked very much those places. I felt very good on our journey to Bran Castle. Mateusz was excited about the architecture of the castle, the beauty of the Bucegi and Piatra Craiului Mountains. We felt wonderful on these trips. For me, Mateusz' visit meant a unique experience. We tied a true friendship. We remember with pleasure the evenings spent together at the mall, at the games room, or at my home, when we decorated the Christmas tree!

Victor Ghinea - Romania

After the first visit, I am returning back with very nice memories to Turkey from Romania where I had been for the first time that I was moody about how to make friendships. I want to thank everyone everlasting for the warm friendships in very cold weather in Bucharest when I went out of the airport. I put those 24 hours which are more meaningful than each other and streets that their all buildings evoke me as the same at the corner of my life’s best memories.I was knowing that project visits were going to give us many cultural values but I didn’t think it would teach us how it would combine us because we were from diffrent cultures. Now I found out that we have many common points. We laughed and enjoyed the same things even I didn’t understand everything clearly.I hope this friendship and sincerity we made within one week will be the starting point of waves which will include all the people in Romania and Turkey. I felt upset while returning from Piteşti-Romania.I know there are nice and friendly people feeling the same things all around the world.I know that this fleeings will spread around the World. And “ Peace at home, peace in the World” proverb will come true one day. Special thanks to the pupils, teachers and headmaster of Piteşti-Romania.

In the first day we were at school, where we made dolls from wooden spoons and sorcova. Then we visited the Golești Museum, Vila Florica and many other interesting places. When Iremnur left, it was very difficult, because we were very good friends now, but she had to get into the car that went to Bucharest airport, to fly to Ankara. It was a beautiful experience

When I came to Poland, I did not expect that I will have one of the best weeks in my life.

Everything started on Monday when we met people from other countries. The start was strange because we didn`t know each other. But when week ended, me, Monika, Polish and Romanian students got very close.

In this week we had a lot of fun activities when students could be together and get closer.

My family was very good. Mum was very kind and Gabi was very friendly. Together we were like sisters.

I liked Polish and Romanian students very much. They were so friendly, kind and honest. I love them! They are very good friends. I will rally miss them.

And, of course, Polish English teachers were very friendly.

All in all, this week was one of the best. Poland and Romania will remain in my heart. Thanks to Erasmus I met these people. I miss them with all of my heart!
